Course details

The course content is divided into equal parts, according to the CEFR levels (Common European Framework Reference). When you sign up for a course one of our friendly, expert advisors will contact you to assess your level and determine your goal and needs.

After careful assessment you will be placed into a group with participants that have a similar level and goal.

With an accent on communication, you will learn and practice, participating in interesting interactive activities, over a range of useful everyday topics and gain confidence in grammar, speaking, listening and writing. Motivated by an expert trainer who knows how to get the most out of every lesson, you will make rapid progress.

Your progress will follow the CEFR (Common European Framework Reference) according to the levels and hours required below. Active Languages offers 6 different levels of coursework, from the true beginner to the proficiency level learner. Your level is assessed, using official assessment tools and your needs and goals are determined through a short, personal interview with one of our highly trained and friendly experts before assigning you to the proper group that matches your level, needs and goal.
